How long will my application take to be re-processed once the feedback has been completed?
Unfortunately it cannot be definitively confirmed when the re-assessment of an applicant's file will take place. Although we endeavour to re-assess applicants' applications as soon as possible, this may not be possible in some instances. Please be aware applicants' applications will be assessed within 60 days from the point in which the status changes to 'Ready for Assessment' and we will aim to re-assess the application before the 60 days where possible.
My document/post has been received by the NMC according to the tracking. Please can you confirm this?
We appreciate applicants may have been requested to provided further information via post by their case manager. Due to the number of applicants which fall under a case manager, it is not possible to confirm where in our internal post system your document is. Please allow 10-15 working days scanning (processing) time for any document posted to the NMC from the date of receipt of the post. You will know once the post has been processed as you will see an update in your document history via your portal confirming the date and time when the post was processed.
I have uploaded the requested document to my portal; however, I can only see the original document uploaded. I am not able to see the new upload on my portal. Please can you check?
When re-uploading documents you will only see the first document historically uploaded. Please change the file name as this will help you to identify the successful upload of the new document. You may not necessarily be able to view the new upload, however, we will be able to see this on your file once your application has been re-submitted so please do not worry if you are unable to view the new file.
Where do I post documentation to?
Please post any documents requested to International Registrations, 23 Portland Place, London, W1B 1PZ. Please do not mark this for the attention of your Assessment Officer or Case Manager unless requested to do so.
My documents have been received and processed, and I have updated my portal. Why am I not in the assessment queue?
Once your portal information has been updated, regardless whether we are still waiting on paper-based information to be sent to the NMC, please ensure you press the submit button on your portal. This will ensure once any post is received and processed, your application will automatically enter the assessment queue.
How do I upload multiple IELTs TRF references on my portal?
In the 'English Language Skills' section where it asks for the 'Test Report Form' number, please enter your first TRF followed by a / followed by the second TRF number. The forward slash segregates TRF numbers.
My IELTs is due to expire; will I need to re-take this?
Your IELTs is only required to be within its 2 year validity period when completing your eligibility, at the very beginning of the registration process. At the assessment stage we validate this information and confirm whether the IELTs was indeed valid when completing the eligibility. If your IELTs expires after you have completed your eligibility, e.g. during your assessment, this will not affect your existing application. If you wish to create a new application, please ensure your IELTs is within its 2 year validity when completing the eligibility.
